This is unimaginably painful, disgusting and totally unacceptable in every sense of the word…Yaya Jammeh…..What is really wrong with your conscience? Do you think that you are doing what is right and pleasing to your Creator? How can you answer to your questions on the day of Judgement? Are you taking into consideration that we are in the holy month of Ramadan?
Yaya Jammeh, as a self proclaimed muslim, one would have expected you to call up the baldeh family in extending your condolence and help in facilitating the repatriation of the lifeless remains of the deceased but instead, soldiers are once again been used to execute your unlawful orders of rejection and denial of burial of the dead…Remember that we shall all live and die one after the other so for you to be displaying rage and anger towards even the dead is indeed very sad because I do not think that any human being with faith or conscience will ever think nor stoop this low let alone to dare reject the dead their final resting place.
In life, we all do and will continue to have issues with people but to carry on hating even after they are been pronounced dead is beyond believe. Although is not at all new that you chose to step in only to deny the dead their rights of citizenship but what really shocks is that, you still call yourself a believer of some sort and we have some religious elders defending your actions that can best be described as ungodly and unIslamic.
Are you really a true believer Mr Jammeh? If so then step in now and allow the family of the deceased to lay to rest the beloved son of our motherland, failure of which, history will not be and so far, has continued to not be on your side at all.
Regardless, the least one will expect of you as a leader is to extend your helping hand to the family and friends of the Baldeh’s by making it much more easier to lay to rest the body of the deceased in his birth place and nothing less but to be this heartless towards your own fellow citizens out of anger is very absurd and regrettable.
Thinking of the limited power that you are been bestow with by Shaitan to further influence you in doing and committing crimes that you can never be able to justify must be revisited if you are at all thinking and seeking of attain the everlasting love and mercy of our Creator.
To be given a title called a president should not give you a free and easy ride to hell but instead should be a position that you can utilise to do as much good for our people and humanity as whole so that your judgement will be lighter and much more easier but is that the case with you? Clearly, it appears that you are totally consumed in this dunya with all the power and illusions surrounding you thus make you even doubt as to whether it will ever end anytime soon?
The answer to that is of course yes, it will in a blink of an eye so best to reason well and start doing the right thing in every situation that arises but if you continue to allow yourself to be driven by hatred and anger then be rest assured that your judgement shall be utterly bitter to the very end because those you are wronging today are the only ones who should and can forgive you.
Can one imagine Obama or any leader of this 21st century denying his critics who even left the country out of fear and eventually passed away a decent burial? It is very disturbing, unthinkable and painful to swallow the fact that, we as a nation are dealing with a leader who believe that the Gambia belongs to him and that he have the mandate to decided who is allowed back home for burial and who is not. Who gave him that might and where is it written that a president have the power and the constitutional right to be the one to decided the final resting place of the dead?|
Are you prepared to face the Angel of death when he knocks at your door? Are you really thinking of it and expecting it to happen to you without notice likewise everyone else? The truth is that, it is unavoidable nor preventable thus make it a must for every living thing on earth….Sooner or later, everything will cease to exist and it shall mark the beginning of the end of life as we all know it and we shall all be starting the adventure of our everlasting and eternal life so why treat the dead as if they deserve such ill treatments? I doubted and will continue to doubt all those who say that you are in fact a believer and that you are a kind and generous leader because your actions and style of governance proof otherwise. Good turn deserves another. One can and will only reap whatever they saw-Be it good or bad so May Allah SWT grant us all goodness…Ameen Ya Rabbi!!!!
I sincerely hope that you will come back to your senses or someone will prevail over your poor sense of reasoning and judgement in matters such as this hence the entire country is once again deeply hurt and left in agony based on your poor judgement for refusing the Baldeh Family to accord their loved one a decent burial.
On a final note, I here by joining the entire Sene-Gambian Nation in extending my heartfelt condolence to the Baldeh Family at this difficult times…Sene-Gambia have lost another great son of our motherland but his spirit and legacy will certainly be cherished until death do us apart!!!
May the noble and gentle soul of Hon Buba Baldeh rest in perfect and eternal peace and be granted one of the highest of places in Jannatul Firdaws….Ameeen Ya Rabbi.
