Oh well, heck yeah, some shocking news. The Minnesota Star tribune (http://www.startribune.com/local/north/299455681.html, 4/12/15) reported that the body of a child was discovered at the Mississippi River in Minneapolis ( Minnesota) by Boys Scout crew searchers on Saturday April 11th 2015. Apparently, the only lost child in the area, at least to public knowledge is 10-year old Barway Collins, 25 days ago. I guess for precaution, the Hennepin county medical examiner’s office is tasked with the identification and determination for cause of death. Family, friends and sympathizers are patiently waiting for the word.
Barway is believed to have emigrated to the United States from Liberia in 2011 to join his father, Pierre Collins, a Liberian resident in Minnesota/U.S. Since Barway’s disappearance, Pierre Collins denied knowledge of Barway’s whereabouts. Two weeks ago, a pastor in the area came to Pierre’s defense, arguing that the court of public opinion convicted Pierre Collins and that people should stop pointing fingers to Pierre but Police Investigators noted that Pierre hasn’t cooperated with investigators.
Pierre Collins remains a primary suspect in the case for obvious reasons. Pierre’s coldness, his lack of emotions, and no cooperation are some of things that are weird from observers which leaves much speculation on the motives of the boy’s disappearance. It is speculated that Pierre is trying to collect a $30,000 insurance on the child. Again, what gives credence to all the speculations and accusations against Pierre, is his seeming silence, lack of cooperation, and stories that are not adding up.
Meanwhile, it is expected that Pierre Collins will be arrested and formerly charged within 24 hours if the discovered body turns out to be the 10-year missing Barway Collins.
