Gainako was reliably informed of the plight of a young Gambian Spanish born 17 year old Musa Dukureh who was allegedly kidnapped by unknown assailants while visiting a Telecommunication center where he frequents in the Spanish City of Sabadell.
The young Dukureh disappeared two weeks ago and no one seems to know his where about including his parents. They have been searching for him and reported the disappearance of the kid to the Spanish police. However, the Spanish police allegedly have not taken the case seriously or shown willingness to investigate the young man’s disappearance.
Musa Dukureh is reported to have sent a message to his mother Amy Dukureh in Spain telling her that he is held somewhere he believes to be in the Middle East. He told his mother he could not talk at the time but that he is surrounded by Arab looking individuals who speak a language he does not understand. He told his mom he will contact them again when he has time.
According to Bai Sankareh who informed our editors about the case, Musa’s family and friends are worried that the young man may have allegedly been kidnapped by extremists fighting in Syria and Iraq. He may have been transported to the Middle East and force to fight in those bloody wars added our source.
Musa’s disappearance has raised lots of concerns in Spain as many youths are allegedly kidnapped in the streets of Spain. The young man’s friend, the owner of the Telecenter where he hangs out is not cooperating with families and when asked when Musa last visited the center he can only say that he is not there at that time. He is reported to be unwilling to entertain questions about Musa’s disappearance. This is making the family extremely uneasy because they are scared that the young man may have been kidnapped and sold to Middle Eastern Fighters.
If anyone recognizes this young man or know anything about his disappearance please contact the family and or the Spanish police. We hope that the Spanish police will take the disappearance of their citizen seriously regardless of his race and color. We will continue to follow the story and update our readers as appropriate. Our thoughts and prayers are with the young man’s family. Mr. Dukureh and his family are originally from Gambisara the Upper River Region of the Gambia. He was born and brought up in Spain.
