    UDP Diaspora Extends Condolences to Mr Jammeh’s Family

    The United Democratic Party (UDP) are deeply saddened by the loss of Alhagie Sainey Jammeh,
    Gambian national, the Chairmain and a strong pillar of its Sweden Chapter. Mr. Jammeh’s demise is a
    loss to not just his UDP family but the Gambian Community in Sweden and the Country at large.
    Alhagie Sainey Jammeh was a committed and selfless patriot who had given his all in the advancement
    of the UDP values and ideologies in his quest to see and have a better Gambia. All who knew Mr.
    Jammeh would attest to his moderation, honesty, dedication and passion for truth and fairness,
    attributes that endeared him to everyone. He was a respectable elder and voice of reasoning in our
    midst.
    The UDP Senior Admin Secretary External Affairs and Chairman of the Diaspora Mr. Mboge Saidykhan,
    on behalf of the Secretary General & Party Leader extends his condolences, thoughts, and prayers to the
    late Mr. Jammeh’s family, loved ones and community in Sweden and The Gambia.
    Mr. Jammeh’s contributions to the Party, his community and the country are immeasurable, and his
    aspirations will continue to inspire all of us.
    We pray that his family finds comfort in the memories all shared with him. May Allah grant them the
    strength to wheel through this huge loss and rest his soul in eternal peace.
