In pursuance of this objective, the GPN has secured funding from the Diaspora Development Fund (DDF) organised by the Migration Sustainable Development Goals (MSDG) and GK Partners Global Limited to publish 10 editions.
The GPN is produced by journalists working for Gainako Online News and Foroyaa Newspaper, namely; Yusef Taylor (Editor), Edrissa Jallow (Project Manager) and Kebba AF Touray (Journalist). Management continues to make efforts to feature more women reporters and reporters from other media houses reporting from Parliament.
The GPN is now focused on increasing the visibility of the newsletter by hosting monthly radio programs highlighting Parliamentary proceedings and launching future GPN Newsletters. Production for the fourth edition featuring proceedings between July and August will be launched next week while the fifth edition featuring proceedings between August and September will be launched in the second week of October 2022.
