We are convinced that our readers will find the double spread in the middle dedicated to the setup of Standing Committees very useful and informative throughout the five-year period of the 6th Legislature. It depicts the balance of Parliament’s Standing Committees and provides an insight into the proceedings of Parliament’s Finance and Public Accounts Committee.

Here is an image of the front and middle page of the 2nd Edition of the GPN.

The second edition also features objections to the Deputy Speaker’s nomination as the Chairperson of the Defense and Security Committee, Hon Halifa Sallah’s views on the Constituency Development Fund and an exclusive interview with the Majority Leader and the member for Banjul North.

Our new section titled Voice of the Nation features an introduction to the National Youth Parliament and National Assembly engagements with two Civil Society Organisations. Our team of reporters report from the National Assembly for Foroyaa Newspaper in Kebba AF Touray and Gainako Online Newspaper in Edrissa Jallow and Yusef Taylor.
