In my humble opinion, the answer to that is of course yes because given the sequence of events of late, I can comfortably assert that it is in fact the very last card we were all waiting to see on the table because is all he got in store from day one and he will go down as the most tribal and brutal dictator in the History of our African Continent.
Although it is a known fact that, whenever the going gets tougher and he feel his grip on power fading away or loosening, he always seems to find his way out by diverting our attention so we can start doubting ourselves in the struggle, employing all sorts of methods to further instill fear in the hearts of our people, using the same old tribal card but did he succeed in his efforts to divide us over the years? No chance!! Will he be able do so in the dying minuets of his reign? No chance at all because we all know the truth and that is, we are one family! Will he give up and leave us alone in peace and harmony? Very unlikely but what is certain though is that, he will live and die like everyone else and his days are visibly numbered!!
Right from the outset, he has shown us the last card on his banners which I can vividly remember saying AFPRC AGAINST TRIBALISM but on the other hand, he was busy running around blowing hot air and using the tribal card saying that “Gambians don’t like him because he was a JOLLA”! “Foni Jollas don’t like him because he was born in Cassamance” He couldn’t help but eventually came out with his tribal hatred and remarks saying that the “Mandingka’s will never rule that country ever again,” as if he have the power to decide who will succeed him and so on!
Upon hearing such remarks coming from his mouth, I immediately woke up to the fact that he lacks it all and that he will forever be using the tribal card to divert our attention from the burning issues facing our people under his brutal regime. So I willingly joined our late father and sided with the truth and nothing but the truth.
Reminiscing my childhood, I grew up with all tribes and I have a lot of friends. We all speak different languages in one simply conversation and we never did see tribe but the beauty of creation and the power of the our Creator who created us all and give us the ability to communicate using combinations of sounds and pronunciations in special ways that mean something and make sense to the other fellow human being. To the wise, race, color and all different languages we use to communicate with each other will be embraced and recognized as one of the manifestation of the Supreme and Divine power, his love and beautiful creation but the fool will say I am different with the other because he or she is this and I am that even though we come from the same human race.
Top the point now, Who in there right frame of mind will buy into Yaya Jammeh’s baseless claims that the UDP is a Mandingo party? Irresponsible and desperate remarks isn’t it? Of course! Otherwise, will it be right then for one to say that his APRC party is also a Mandingka party hence 19 members of his parliamentarians are mandingkas? Majority of his supporters are mandingka so therefore, the APRC stand in a better position to be accused of tribalism if that is the name of his game. Oh sorry, let me come again and ask whether the APRC is in fact a Jolla party? Of course yes because since he unconstitutionally hijacked our motherland, foni was long been declared as a NO OPPOSE zone in any elections. Why? Because he claims to be a Jolla and therefore, they cannot and will not dare to vote for any other leader for that matter.
Why not any other leader? Because he claims to have been born in Foni Kansala!! Oh Really? Well am not sure of that but I can tell you that the APRC is by all definition a very tribal party to the core and its deep rooted messages of hatred and tribalism cross borders. My late father would have been the right person to tell you more about it because he was brutally tortured, injected and victimized to the end for refusing to join the boat to the tribalistic and narrow minded leader of the APRC party.
What is our strength against the APRC and their tribal leader then? Let us stay united as people of one nation and show him the exit door!! What should we do as people of one nation in the face of his latest and yet another desperate attempts to divide and rule us? Let us stay united as people of one nation and show him the exit door!! Alright, I got it and that is in fact the best solution to our problem as a Nation because united we shall over come but divided we shall fall by the way side.
What was the intend behind such tribal connotations? To divide and rule us. Is that not what Islam tells us not to do? Of course yes! No one is better than the other except in our deeds, good or bad. Isn’t it evil to create division among-st his children based on our own selfish gain on earth? I think so.
We all know that tribalism is a devil philosophy, why do we have to fall for the work of Satan and his followers? Mankinka, Fulla, Jolla, Serere, Wollofs, Manjakoes and the rest of our tribes have lived in perfect peace and harmony until now and we’ve inter-married for centuries and so it will forever remain regardless of who says what or intend what for we all know who we are as people of one nation.
Please Gambians, let us stay untied for it is our strength and we must ensure that we do not even give him the benefit of the doubt to even think that he is of any significant in our motherland let alone to be the one who can break the peaceful bonds our families are sharing which dates back to our ancestors, centuries ago.
He’s shown us that he hate us all regardless of tribe because he have killed us all and now he want to further divide us so he can continue to torture, imprison, exile and kill us one after the other. We as Gambians-Sene-Gambians should and will all rise above the lowest, most tribal and primitive leader of our modern times!! We the youths shall over-come !! Rise above the Vampire!! Gambians rise above the devil. We’re all children of Adam and Awa/ Adam/Eve!!!
May peace and blessings of the Almighty Creator be upon us all. May He guide and protect us all from the very evil which He created!! Ameen!
In the service of humanity!!
