 France convened an emergency meeting over the weekend of African Leaders on the issue of the Kidnapped Nigerian Girls by Boka Haram several weeks ago. The meeting attended by European leaders and United States State Department representative was held in Paris on May 17, 2014. Officials of the suspended Gambia Football Federation (GFF) have been arrested, and are currently in detention at Banjul police headquarters, reliable sources told The Point. An official of the GFF told The Point their arrest is in connection with Gambia’s disqualification from all CAF competitions for age cheating.
