By: Sulayman Shyngle Nyassi UK This is unimaginably painful, disgusting and totally unacceptable in every sense of the word…Yaya Jammeh…..What is really wrong with your conscience? Do you think that you are doing what is right and pleasing to your Creator? How can you answer to your questions on the day of Judgement? By Demba Baldeh Gainako Associate Editor Traits such as honesty; empathy, integrity and fairness are basic tenets of human decency and civilization. We are often judged on how we treat and interact with our fellow human beings; how we accord them the respect and dignity they deserve and in return earn their respect and trust. One of the most important traits of leadership is how they treat people who work for them; hang around them and how they interact with their counterparts both domestically and International. By Yero Jallow It is a sudden and sad death. Buba Baldeh as was fondly called is from a political household, and among the early educated folks in Basse Mansajang. Despite some of the political odds that accompanied Buba’s political career, notably his association with the former PPP as Minister of Youth and Sports, a government highly criticized for its leadership failures, and for partly serving Jammeh’s criminal regime as APRC youth mobilizer and Daily Observer editor, he was still a believer in democracy, activism, and encouraged great political participation in the Senegambian region. As Gainako has profiled hitherto, many…

Barely few days after he fired his young Secretary General Sabally and appointed seasoned civil servant Abdoulie Sallah as Secretary and head of the civil service President Jammeh has fired Sallah and replaced him with Momodou Aki Bayo who was newly appointed as Lands and Regional government minister. By Modou Nyang That the desire for royalty in Banjul would ever come to pass has always been taken with a grain of salt by serious political pundits. But this one caught most if not all flatfooted. Partly maybe, because the coronation took place off-base and out of radar away in the land of modern-day mother of crowns where the art of crowning is best, the almighty Great Britain.  Yep, Jaliba Kuyateh was crowned king in Bristol and the ceremony was fantastic. It was a spectacle to behold. Even William and Kate were sure to be jealous and verily…
