Too often, his supporters will say that he knows nothing about it and his critics will say that he careless, so which one is it? As we expect of every good leader in our modern times, he or she will be serving the interest of the nation but unlike the Gambian Authorities,it is the exact opposite. Many foreign investors will tell you that, they’ve lost their investments after running out of luck with the Jammeh administration so therefore, they were expelled from the country using false allegations , the so called and corrupted legal system to bully them out of the country.
Let’s take a look at the options that were presented to the Jammeh administration in dealing with the Bakoteh rubbish dumping ground. If in deed he was in for the interest of our people, wouldn’t he have taken the option of allowing the company that wanted to clean up the area and build a reclying facility that will be turning our rubbish into electricity to serve our people?
The company would’ve employed a minimum of 6000 Gambians to carry out their daily operations which will eventually lead to the eradication of malaria all together, which is directly affecting those orphans(SOS) and the entire community who are living right opposite the most horrific pollution and stinking atmosphere. The entire country would’ve been eradicated of malaria and electrified because every rubbish will be collected, recycled and turned into a source of energy for the 1.8 million population. Each employee would have been paid a very high standards of wages amounting to D6000.00 Dalasis each month to encourage and motivate them all and everyone to keep up and live a very healthy life style. Those lucky to be employed by that company would have also been able to pay for their children’s education and also put three meals a day, on the table for their respective families.
Sadly enough though, the Jammeh administration decided that they will not allow the company to embark on their ambition of cleaning the Nation and helping to uplift and maintain a good quality of living standards for our people simply because his administration will never be willing to raise the standards of wages like they wanted to do. He asserted that not even his own soldiers are paid that much so therefore, it is a big NO NO which is to the detriment of our helpless masses how are still held as hostages by self-centered and greedy bunch of criminals.
Instead of prosperity, they chose backwardness because of all options that were at their disposal, they chose to make money out of the dying population of our beloved nation. How did they do that and how are they killing our people, slowly but surely? Please allow me to explain. The Jammeh administration opted for the deadly and dangerous way of dealing with the rubbish by signing a contract with two different companies to clean up the area and dig a big hole and buried it all in and seal it will concrete. They wire fenced the area and stationed a security officer there, to charge every truck a big amount of money to continuing dumping. Unfortunately, our people are made to believe that they did a fantastic job for cleaning the area because the Idea of digging and burying all that rubbish is very hazardous and deadly as it will contaminate the water circle in within the Bakoteh area for generations. Is not a rocket science for even the baby to figure that out but for the Jammeh administration and his supporters, it was the best of all options for our people.
How can he justify denying our people the opportunity of electrifying the entire country, using the very rubbish he is burying and charging our people for dumping there household waste? Why deny 6000 Gambians, their families and the entire population a very decent and high standards of living? Why are they continuing to pollute the very orphans that we as a nation should be ensuring that they are given a very good start in life? Burying all that rubbish will mean that the wells and taps around the area risk been contaminated, so what is the wisdom behind such irresponsible behavior as a government? Do they want to kill us all and our future generations or are they in fact serving the interest of our people? Food for thought!!!
My natural conclusion is that, the Jammeh administration as we all know is not there to serve nor protect its citizens but to use and abuse them as they please with total impunity. No one dare talk nor challenge their judgement as a Government because it is a one man show and he careless about the well-being of our people. For the supporters of the Jammeh administration who often come up with excuses by saying that he is not aware, I ask, what kind of a leader will not know what his people need and what his various ministerial cabinet members are doing? What kind of a leader will approve a plan to bury all that rubbish instead of building a recycling industry in the Gambian which will produce electricity using our house whole waste? My fellow Gambians, please be the judge!!
More Revelations to Come, by the grace of the Almighty!!
May peace forever rain on us all…Ameen!!
In the Service of Humanity!!!
