“I have been warning Njogou Bah several times and even call him in my office to advise him and minute a memo to him for him to behave well because I told him that even going to his marabouts in order to charm me, would not work,” he said.
According to Jammeh, similarly he would not even think of forgiving both Jobarteh and Barry saying that during the transition, he has locked him Barry in prison because of his wrong doings he told Muslim elders at State House.
So anyone thinking that I would pardon the trio, should forget because I would never” Billahi Wollahi Tallahi” am on (Oath), I will never endeavor to pardon these gentle men he confidently told the elders.

In the same vein, if you commit rape and drug related offences, the offender would be sent to jail once convicted and no one should even think of me pardoning these bad elements in the society he charged.
He also dilated on those clerics who preaches out side the ethics of the Islamic Religion urging the Gambia Supreme Islamic Council to sensor them and make sure that the preachers are in line with the teachings of Islam.
“During the just concluded Ramadan, I was listening to a particular radio when a preacher made some irresponsible remarks and I even wanted to call but I know if I call, people would detect my voice as Yahya Jammeh,” he said.
President Jammeh appeals to the elders and the GSIC to help salvage the country as he states that the country is spoil not economically, but socially as the children’s normally dressed in manners that are un call for maintain that in most cases, they would dressed fine in front of their parents, but when they are out they would dressed badly.
