Dear editors,
Kindly publish the documents attached in response to Commissioner Kanteh’s deceptive and misplaced defense he is known for, and has demonstrated yet again in relation to his embarrassing past as Commissioner of Western Division. I am not quoting anyone for the revelations that I made. I lived it myself. I am the source, period.
Mr. Commissioner, I have already made a covenant with one of your comrades whom I have high regards for, but am sorry I have to break that covenant to whip your behind again with facts. While I understand that you never thought that you would one day find yourself in exile for fear of losing your life to your old buddy Yaya Jammeh, you also never expected that history would record your deeds, which in the end will follow you to your grave. I am not going to intervene in your mudslinging at Gainako Editors. They are good at their job. Notwithstanding, I think it is very shameful for you to suggest that Gainako editors lack journalistic ethics by publishing my article without contacting you for your side of the story.
Commissioner Kanteh, my revelations are no allegations, they are facts, and facts only. I have provided the whole world a material evidence to see for themselves. It is easy to read the document by clicking twice on the bottom/middle posting that should zoom it closer for your legibility. But to save you the trouble of wearing you thick glasses, I have rewritten below the content. It reads;
Commissioners’s Office

Mr. Commissioner, it is indeed laughable that you could remember the “ineptitude, rampant corruption, nepotism” by the PPP regime 30 years earlier, but cannot remember what your own hands have done only 17 years ago. You cannot recognize you own signature? Are you kidding me? Deception, or you are diagnosed with Alzheimer? It is equally ridiculous and contradictory to say that you do not remember me, but at the same time you claimed to have averted or foiled plots that would have harmed me, the late Imam Karamo Touray (MHSRP), Buba Aye. Sanneh, and Dembo Arra Sanneh. What a fake you are. By the way, don’t you ever dare associate the late Imam with your deception.
(1) It is rubbish to say that the above “document emanated from the Ministry of Local Government & Land and as such could not have been used to reference”. I submit to you that your assertion is false as always. This letter emanated directly from you. Furthermore, Commissioners, Seyfolu, and Alkalolu have always been under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of the Local Government and lands.
(2) It is also not true that the Ministry of Local Government was under the office of the President at the time. Yankuba Touray was the then Minister for Local Government and Lands.
Mr. Commissioner, good try, but sorry you have failed again to answer the questions. I will give you a final chance to see if you will be bold and honest enough to yourself and to the wider Gambian community you claim to care so much for. Please honestly answer the following questions below;
(1) Were you the Commissioner of Western Division on or about March 10, 1997?
(2) Did you received or read my petition?
(3) Did you ever read or at least heard of my petition from a newspaper article?
(4) Did you respond to my petition?
(5) How many times were you fired and rehired by Professor Jammeh?
Yes, you have not personally arrested and detained me at the NIA. However, but for your politically motivated illegal removal of the Alkalolu in three Kombo East Constituencies, I would not have been arrested for petitioning you in the first place. Yes, my petition was very broad. See attached, along with the newspaper publications.
In conclusion, I would assure you that I am real and have no interest in leveling false claims against you or anyone. I have lived this predicament since 1994 when you were at separate times part of the regime. I have always spoken my mind from the Transition period to date. I am not a coward, and have never been one. The only new voice and face in this struggle is you. Where have you been for nearly two decades?. You can run but certainly you cannot hide form your ugly past. I truly believe that you should step aside as the voice and face of NRMG. Your hands are as stained as Dr. Jammeh’s. Tyrant Jammeh + Tyrant Kanteh, what’s the difference? If you are our only hope for liberation, ma body die for Gambia.
