Breaking
From Gainako’s Army Source
Yaya Jammeh met with his men in the army and the rebels he recruited to instruct them of his plans to trap and ambush the ECOMOG forces. As we speak, all camp commanders have been instructed to surrender and not put up a fight once the ECOMOG troops arrive. “All barracks commanders will surrender with their men. Already all the arms, heavy weapons and machetes have been moved and hidden in strategic places for use by his loyal army men, green boys and rebels recruited from Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast etc. They will wait until night time to wear civilian clothing and begin guerilla war with ECOMOG forces.” Our source within the army informed us.
The Royal Victoria Hospital (RVTH) which is a few meters away from the Presidential place (State House) has been identified by Jammeh and his generals as their base. Patients and doctors have been moved to the hospital at Kanifing with only his loyal green youths and rebels occupying the building. Weapons including machetes have been moved to the hospital for use at night to fight a guerilla war against the ECOMOG forces.
Yaya Jammeh has no intention of leaving without causing havoc in The Gambia, all these delays for so-call negotiations is all to buy time to finalise his deadly plans. The UN, AU and ECOWAS need to recognise that the only thing Jammeh is “negotiating” is putting up a fight. His generals have a history of dishonesty as manifested in December 2014 when they lured a group of diaspora Gambians to state house promising them no resistance as forces were feedup with Jammeh and looking to liberate Gambians, when these people arrive they lured them into an ambush inside state house and murdered them.
This is a developing story. We can confirm fully that Jammeh plans to engage in guerilla war instead of open war with ECOMOG forces. The base with machetes at the RVTH hospital is also verified and patients have indeed been evacuated and the hospital now used as base for Jammeh’s rebels. We implore the ECOMOG forces to advance with caution and not let their guard down with Gambian army personnel.

I wish to express my utmost concerns about newspaper and other commentary that isn’t supported by concrete facts and verifiable sources!!
To think that the ECOWAS forces comprising of our own West African brothers and sisters, that that are no strangers to machete wielding lunatics showing up at night draped in wood ash (Domi Taal), will be sitting ducks waiting to be mowed down by rebels is certainly preposterous.
Whoever is putting this fear mongering together shows their own limits to understanding modern day warfare. Do these folks want to make us believe that ECOWAS forces do not have access to sophisticated night vision equipment? Oh I get it. ECOWAS is also engaged in the Ousman Badji brand of Juju warfare. Yangi Maye Giss as the comedian Koucha would say.
Folks, please cut out the fear mongering as Yaya Jammeh is done, disrobed and and all the Marabout Juju arsenal rendered worthless. In this day and age, anyone holding the belief that there’s a Juju for warding off gunshots, bayonets or offering “Dibindi Rango properties is clearly a deluded individual.
A guerilla war? I stand to be proven wrong over time but I can bet anything that everything that Yaya Jammeh and his roasting cabal of uniformed men is just for show.
Yaya may profess to wreak havoc if he doesn’t have his way but I’d say hard luck, you’ve been cornered Yaya. Banjul is an island city and there isn’t enough room to become a “Beeting Beeting Naa” is this small Gambia surrounded on three sides by Senegal. and folk, believe me that this time around ECOWAS will conduct a good job of mopping up any muck that Yaya, the disrobed Nsalaaw Nsalaaw, leaves behind.
This intervention will be over by the weekend and the ECOWAS forces will be all smiles.
Only word of advice to Soldarr Yi Sunu Gan Yi is to pleeeease leave our women alone this time around. We hold vivid memories of the post Kukoi pustch. Otherwise, you may hear a ton of Daahum Ginaarr Wahaleh Sa Sohla.
Thank you Famara for the feedback. We do appreciate your comments and we use these as learning experience for us to improve on our reporting. We hope that readers do appreciate the level of difficulty bloggers and or journalists have in disseminating information. In fact the message is not about fear mongering but rather cautioning citizens to watch out. If you have closely studied Yahya Jammeh and his regime for the past 22 years then you will not put anything pass them.
Did we not hear people’s necks broken, pushed off of vehicles and dying mysteriously? Did we not hear people being poisoned or put in chains killed and claimed to have escape?
Do you recall what happened in Iraq during the US invasion? The army surrendered and what followed was long months of war. Never under estimate your enemies and always take precaution. If it turns out to be a false alarm but one life was able to take shelter and safe their lives, that is all we are aiming at.
To proof that we are dealing with a lunatic, how many people speculated that Jammeh will yield power to Barrow before ECOWAS interven? How many times did we hear that Jammeh will leave on Day XYZ and he is still there fighting the ECOWAS.
In any case, we do appreciate your feedback and will always strife to improve our reportage.
Thank you .. on behalf of GON (Gainako online newspaper)
Watch out jammeh is not a good person. Why should he be given time for negotiations?, that man could have been removed the day before yesterday!, why are you giving him time to plan evil. You are getting late hurry up!
