To my critics Allow me to address this to all:
Relative to “using force” in the Gambia, I know what is involved in terms of logistics and manpower, and since I did not and do not have access to such “logistics” and “manpower” that is why I did not come out publicly and told Monster Jammeh “to pack up or he will be packed up”/.
And notice that there is a difference between what you say you want, and what you say you will do. You can say you want monster Jammeh removed, but does that mean that you will remove him. That is what you want, but that does not mean that that is what you will do. What you want is sometimes different from what you say you will do.
You can say you want Monster Jammeh out, but does that mean you will tell him to “pack up and leave” or you will REALLY pack him up? There is a difference between what you say you want and what you say you will do. I hope you will notice the difference. And so, I know what is involved in terms of logistics and manpower to “pack up” Monster Jammeh, and since I do not and did not have access to that, that is why I never told him to “pack up or he will be packed up”.
I truly and sincerely appreciate the support of those who have and continue to support me, directly and or indirectly. That means a lot to me. Now, to some of my critics, let me say this:
And as for those who come out and say they have been deployed to wars and so on, and or challenge or question my military service, I ask or CHALLENGE any or all of them to tell me, or you, or the public in what capacity were they employed in any military. What was their military occupation specialty (MOS) during such deployment? Did they ever engage in “serious battles”, or ever went on “HVT (High Value Target) operations, other missions and so on? AND I WANT THEM TO CONTRADICT ME, PUBLICLY OR PRIVATELY ANYTHING OR EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE BEEN SAYING MILITARILY.
I am not just a highly trained “Combat Soldier”, but proven as well, and I have been in and engaged in all kinds of missions, battles and operations. And ohh, by the way, I was doing so under the leadership, training and experience of the best military in the world.
Some people just talk “cheap talk”, and when I pointed it out they want to attack my credentials and or record, while they conveniently set aside their own egos, self-centered perspectives and crowded designs and ambitions.
And relative to military ROEs (Rules of Engagement), tactics, operations, etc, I challenge anyone to privately and or publicly challenge me on anything I have been saying is wrong. Of course, nowadays you can about google almost anything, such as “element of surprise” and learn a thing or two about it. You can even google “collateral damage” and learn a thing or two about it. But believe, Folks, what you google is different from what it really is.
So, of course, we will not discuss and or talk about “specific details”, but we can discuss and talk about “general outlines”.
And so, all these people who are talking “cheap talk” here or anywhere else, I challenge them to show me or you, or the public their record, and or I challenge them to match or beat my record. I am not trying to be arrogant or bluffing here. I am just stating a fact, my record speaks for itself. So, when it comes to military operations, let your record speaks for itself, instead of attacking my military career record, and or service at a time when you do not even have comparatively what I have on my military record. And I am not bluffing here; I am just stating, again, a fact.
All or any military have two components, and these two components are “those who fight” and “those who support those who fight”. I was part of “those who fight”. All others supported or support us. Notice and understand the difference here, between “those who fight” and “those who support those who fight”.
Of course, I respect and admire the sacrifices and service of all those who served or are serving, or will serve. What I don’t like or can’t stand are all these attacks from people (both in the military or not) who have no idea what they are talking about.
I challenge anyone with similar military record as mine to privately or publicly challenge me and or contradict me on what I have been saying, relative to military operations. All or some of what these people have been engaging on and are engaging on is just “cheap talk”. Talk is cheap; in fact, it is beginning to be “free” in some quarters.
I admire and respect those who served and are serving. I do not question their service, but if they want to question mine, or challenge mine, then I invite them to bring it on. NOW, who is gonna bring it on?
And finally, I fought for and defended FREEDOM and people’s rights both through the pen and the “sword”. I didn’t do it for just six months, a year or two. It was a distinguished, honorable and dedicated career. I was in it for over 20 years now. I served both my home country and my adopted country, and in the process shed blood, sweat and tears for both countries.
God’s speed to this cause.
